We have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous property, lovingly restored by the owners, every little detail has been painstakingly thought through. We would like to keep it a 'secret hideaway', but that wouldn't be fair! The owners are superb hosts, and Castle Beams is in a rural, peaceful location; with excellent walking on its doorstep.

We have no hesitation in recommending this remarkable holiday accommodation. It is an excellent property in terms of equipment, cleanliness and the warm welcome offered by its owners. We had a wonderful stay at Castle Beams. Everything was perfect – beautifully renovated barn, spacious rooms, extremely well equipped, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and set in a really attractive & quiet location. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, providing us with a nice welcome basket . Easily the best self-catered accommodation we ever have stayed in. We’ll be happy to return.

Castle Beams offers 5 star self-catering equipment. Our every need was catered for. An excellent welcoming pack was provided. The accommodation is extremely well equipped. The owners have thought of everything to make life comfortable and easy. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and the furnishings comfortable. The location is rural, peaceful and quiet with lovely views and local walks. We had a very enjoyable week at Castle Beams and do not hesitate in recommending.

Fabulous property in quiet, rural location. Comfortable beds with quality bedding and towels and two luxurious bathrooms en suite making the property particularly suitable for friends holidaying together. All kitchen equipment is top quality and everything was spotlessly clean. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this immaculate property.

 The owners are great hosts with a perfect balance between being on hand with any help needed but not being intrusive. The location is very peaceful with walks from the door plus within easy reach of many attractions by car. We will definitely return.

This was a beautiful holiday cottage with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were extremely helpful and the welcome basket was well thought out. A great location to explore Shropshire and Wales. One of the best places we have stayed!

Extremely comfortable, thoughtfully equipped restored barn. Peaceful picturesque location. Within easy reach of attractions such as Stokesay Castle, Croft Castle and Ludlow, as well as being excellent walking country.

A fabulous holiday cottage that met all our needs in every respect. A barn converted to the highest standard with plenty of space and very well equipped. Excellent friendly hosts who live in the main house on the same site but the cottage and its garden are still quite private. We would definitely book this property again - Many thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Beams. The hamper of 'goodies' was much appreciated & kept us 'nourished' until such a time as when we could restock at the local amenities which are a short and scenic drive away. The Shropshire scenery is something to behold & the history of the area is truly remarkable. D&J couldn't do enough for us to make our time at Castle Beams a thoroughly enjoyable & relaxing experience-we will be back for sure!
