Coming North from Ludlow on A49

Turn left 3 miles north of Ludlow at Bromfield (opposite the Ludlow Food Centre) onto B4113, signposted Knighton and Leintwardine. Continue for just over 5 miles and just before entering Leintwardine take a right turn signposted Clungunford and Craven Arms. At the end of the lane turn right onto the B4385 (be careful, this is a tricky junction) and after 1 mile turn left, continuing on B4385 signposted Hopton Heath. About a mile later, turn right, still continuing on the B4385 signposted to Hopton Castle. After half a mile take the left turn at the sharp bend, signposted Hopton Castle. Turn left immediately after the railway bridge and after 1 mile you will enter the village and, about 100 metres past the side road to the left, the property is on the right .

Coming South from Shrewsbury on A49, or East from Bridgnorth on the B4368

Turn right at the roundabout in Craven Arms onto B4368, signposted Clun. Continue for 1.5 miles and fork left onto the B4367 signposted Hopton Heath. Continue for 4 miles, passing through Clungunford, and turn right on a sharp bend at Hopton Heath onto the B4385 signposted to Hopton Castle. Turn left immediately after the railway bridge and after 1 mile you will enter the village and the property is on the right about 100 metres past the side road on the left.

Coming West from Clun on the B4368

Just under 4 miles from Clun, turn right at The Hundred House pub in Purslow onto the B4385 to Leintwardine.  Continue for 1.7 miles and, in Twitchen turn right onto an unmarked road, signposted Hopton Castle. Follow this for just under a mile and turn left at the T-junction. Castle Beams is the second gateway on the left.
